Balancing the demands of work, managing house responsibilities, schooling, and entertaining children, or facing unexpected hardship can be challenging.  Refer to the San Mateo County Office of Education’s family-specific resources page for a range of resources, which is updated regularly. The Child Mind Institute also offers resources, including telehealth support parent support groups, articles, and webinars.

Meal Access/Distribution

Families who qualify for free and reduced lunch continue to have access to daily meals that are distributed via bus route while in Shelter in Place.

LLESD offers childcare via Champions on our Las Lomitas Elementary school site for children of essential workers.  Please contact Sharon Pfeiffer, Champions Program Manager at Las Lomitas Elementary School, for further information.

Adolescent Counseling Services

For Students: ACS is continuing to offer individual counseling to students at La Entrada via HIPAA compliant Telehealth means. If a student is needing short-term, immediate sessions ACS is still accepting new students and will continue to do so. Parents can self-refer their student to ACS services by emailing or calling 650-450-8221 

ACS encourages parents to reach out at any time; if parents have any questions or concerns concerning the mental health of their child, ACS will do their best to find support for students and their families.
