COVID-19 Health Information
Rely on trusted local and national sources for up-to-date information about COVID-19. See the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the San Mateo County Department of Public Health websites, as well as the Pandemic Recovery Framework and the California Department of Public Health K-12 Guidance.
Mental Health
Experiencing stress and anxiety is understandable during this unprecedented time. Visit the mental health resources page of the San Mateo County Office of Education for a curated list of resources to help you cope during this difficult time. If you need immediate assistance contact the StarVista 24/7 Crisis Hotline at 650.569.0350 or text “home” to 741-741. You may also connect with Las Lomitas or La Entrada school counselors.
Physical Health
The American Heart Association recommends that youth engage in moderate to vigorous activity a minimum of an hour daily. Help our students and families remain active during shelter-in-place. Las Lomitas and La Entrada Physical Education instructors have provided distance learning options for students in all grade levels. An abundance of pre-recorded online, live stream, and mobile app exercise classes exist, many of which are free. Add your favorites to the LLESD Physical Activity/Exercise Resource List.
Additional Wellness Resources
Looking for ideas to keep your mind and body well during shelter-in-place? The San Mateo County Department of Public Health’s Behavioral Health and Recovery Services has posted a WELLNESS WHILE PHYSICAL DISTANCING list of virtual physical activity, mindfulness, museum tours, online learning, and other resources.
