News & Important Information for Families

iPad Insurance for 6th-8th grade students

It is highly recommended that students participate in the iPad insurance program. Our data indicates that over 20% of the iPads issued have incurred cracked screens. This was mostly due to dropping backpacks, overstuffed backpacks, and simple "drops". The iPad Acceptable Use document details the iPad Program. After the initial iPad insurance offering, you may still elect to participate in the iPad damage insurance program. The $75 initial fee may be prorated.  If you choose this option, the student iPad would need to be examined, tested, and subject to a 30-day review, so we can confirm it is not defective. The Acceptable Use Agreement for 6th-8th grade iPads provides information on pricing.
